Dear Brothers Knights; Not to long ago we started this fraternal year and it’s coming now to an end. When we started, we had a long calendar with many activities and projects to complete and thanks to the support of all member of the Executive and members of this council we certainly can see and say “Mission accomplished”. There have been moments, in which we all had a good time, and like in any other family, there have been moments of difficulty, but thanks to God and, the good faith and trust of my brothers we have been able to complete our programs and exceed the expectation.
One of the most beautiful satisfactions that we have as a Council is to have the opportunity to support the seminarians, and I would like to ask for your prayers for all the Seminarians that will be ordained this year and especially for one in particular that our council has support. He is Reverend Deacon Jorge Aviles that will be ordained to the Priesthood on May 12, 2007 at St. Michael Cathedral.
There is so much more to do, that as Brothers Knight we can do, there is so many ideas, so many people that need our help, so many Churches looking for support whether is in man power or economically and so many institutions in desperate need to complete their works and goals.
Brothers we can all make a difference, please support all the activities of our Council. Only with your contribution is that we are able to help and support more seminarians which are our main goal. We need vocations, we need more priest, we need to defend our faith and support our Church.
I would like to express my gratitude to all the members of this council who believed in me to lead this council during this year.
I can’t thank enough all the Executive Members and my eternal gratitude to their spouse for support your husband during all this time, week after week.
My Love and my heart go to my wife Benny, because with out her support, I would have not been able to do it.
Brother Knights, summer is around the corner and I wish you all the best to you and your family, have fun, rest well, because when we come back in September, we will start all over again, with the same enthusiasm and dedication that I can always offer to you and the Council, God bless you all.
